Defra Chief Scientific Adviser Professor Gideon Henderson joined the All-Party Group for the first time as guest speaker on 25 January 2022 to present and discuss his thoughts on the scale of the net zero challenge and the opportunities scientific innovation in agriculture has to offer in reducing the climate change impact of our food system.

DIT Minister for Exports Mike Freer MP was joined by representatives of UK Technology for Agriculture and Genetics (UK TAG), the Commercial Horticultural Association (CHA) and the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) to launch a a new initiative aimed at boosting international trade in the Agri-Tech sector.
